Abc radio melbourne evenings host lindy burns not returning 2019-04-06 5:26:28 5 2 I think you’d agree.
As a radio host who’s been in radio for 20 years – and a dedicated person with no politics – I’m concerned that her career is taking a serious tumble.
With radio and radio station employees becoming disillusioned with what they perceive as the “politicised” nature of the industry and with the current politics of the new government, I’m worried this could be what ultimately led to Ms Burnley’s departure.
She’d been the “face” of Melbourne’s WA and Central Coast radio, which has been around for평택출장마사지 nearly 40 years.
In that time, she’d established the network’s first day two week program WA Radio Show – the show that changed WA radio broadcasting – and hosted Radio WA WA’s Breakfast Breakfast program.
What I fear is what the future holds for Ms Burnley. In its heyday, WA Radio Show gave listeners an opportunity to listen to WA radio shows before they got out of WA. It also served as a forum바카라 for listeners to debate the quality of radio programming around the state, while also revealing the talents of those who worked in this area.
I think there’s an assumption that “it’s only in WA” – that people there simply “get it”.
I feel it’s the opposite.
What’s even more worrying is that, at what will likely be a very difficult time for WA’s radio station staff – with the state government announcing it is re-electing former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull – many will be looking for ways to make a comeback.
I’m sure that she’d been involved in many of those conversations during the past year, so it’s no surprise that her future looks very uncertain.

I had just written to Mr Kelly and Mr창원출장샵 창원안마 Burns for support after reading their comments about me. Their comments clearly show you cannot do that.
I hope to hear more, but I will stick with what I wrote on Monday. Lindy Burns from Perth – the face of WA radio show WA Radio Show 2018-03-29 10:16:53 11 9 “That’s the end of the line.”
You did something for my radio station and my listeners in WA. It’s the end of the line.
